Company History

Bagby Elevator and Electric Company came to Richmond in 1975 to work on the Federal Reserve Bank in downtown Richmond.  Shortly after completion, Bagby Elevator and Electric Company were able to secure a high-rise building located in downtown Richmond for what is now known as the SunTrust Headquarters building.

• On December 22^nd 1986, David L. Tribble, Sr. and John Woodfin purchased the Richmond branch and renamed it Bagby Electric of Va, Inc.
• In 1991, David L. Tribble, Sr. purchased the company from Mr. Woodfin and grew the company to one of the larger electrical contractors in Richmond.  While placing special emphasis on negotiated work, Bagby Electric of Va, Inc. was able to follow a team of general contractors and customers.  These same customers exist today.
• July 1^st 2012, David L. Tribble, Sr. officially retires and David Tribble, Jr. and Cory Tribble purchase the business.
